Cinna-Gingersnap Recipe

Old-school favorite gin and ginger makes a comeback perfect for the winter months by substituting fresh apple cider for the less-sweet ginger ale. Tart cranberries add a little punch to those final sips, and the juniper gin flavor is sure to bring holiday cheer to those who partake. Garnish this classy cocktail with a slice of candied ginger and a cinnamon stick for Instagram-worthy presentation that tastes as good as it looks!

Ingredients:

2 slices of fresh ginger

9 fresh whole cranberries

2 tsp sugar

A pinch of cinnamon

1.5 oz gin (preferably London Dry or Plymouth)

1.5 oz apple cider

1.5 Tbsp fresh-squeezed lemon juice

Slice of candied ginger and cinnamon stick for garnish

Directions:

Muddle or crush the ginger, cranberries, sugar, and cinnamon in the bottom of your glass. Pour in gin, cider, and lemon juice and stir. Add ice cubes to chill and garnish with candied ginger and a cinnamon stick.
